There are many sites and excursions nearby such as the Dunns River Falls, The Dolphin Cove, The Red Stripe Cruise, scenic gardens and working plantations.

The resort offers a restaurant, pub, sports bar, pool, 300 meters of golden sand beach, and is perfect for singles, couples, families or groups.

SandCastles has trained activity coordinators to appeal to young and old alike. Beach Open daily from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Beach chairs and Towels are available free of charge. Water Sports are available on the beach at extra charge. Everything from Windsurfing, Sailing, Snorkeling to Waterskiing and Jet Skiing. The Resort offers daily activities and nightly entertainment.

The Castles Restaurant offers a main dining area "Castles Restaurant" offering a la carte dining along with poolside buffet. For dining under the stars; dinner is offered poolside 3 nights per week. SandCastles offers informal dining for the guest who simply wants to relax.
